Excellent knife, slicey as can be, crisp action, fit and finish is excellent. Size in general and weight is super nice for edc. You can tell alot of thought went into the design and a lot of hard work went into making it happen.

If you are looking for a high end piece of cutlery, this should be in the conversation. This is coming from someone that has handled MANY great small batch USA made knives.

The Transient 3.2 is awesome. I’ve had a ti subliner 3.2 in hand at Blade Texas so I knew what to expect. Somehow it still blew me away. Maybe because this one is actually mine. Design, fit, finish, ergonomics, everything. All amazing. I’m a lefty, so my one little pick is that if there’s too much pressure against the scale where the lock bar sits when trying to reverse flick, the detent gets tight and it’s really hard to deploy. Can easily work around it and make it work, it just doesn’t feel as natural when deploying. Doesn’t anger me at all, just something I have to keep aware of. Still might be the best detent I’ve ever felt on a knife. And to top it all off, Jim’s customer service is top notch. Great knife, great company, great maker.
