Transient 3.2 V3

I have owned 3 transients (2 drop knives and 1 auction knife) and they are by far my favorite tactical folders! The action is amazing and now that customizable parts are becoming more available I am even more in love with each knife!

This is a great knife. I love the look, the ergonomics and the action. It slices great too.

Hello all. My most recent purchase from Jim was a transient 3.2. This blade sports a g-10 scale with thumb studs and I must say it is absolutely perfect in every way from the feel to the balance to the comfort in hand it is an absolute pleasure to carry. The transient is an amazing knife. I have a 3.2 and it is super light, carries well, perfect size, and is just a quintessential knife. Cuts so well. So useful and functional that there really is very little to say about any negative aspects other than it is very difficult trying to get another one.

I have purchased two HMC transients, one of which I was able to buy directly and love them both. Instant permanent places in my collection. Jim is a pleasure to work with and is both kind and professional. You will not regret an HMC as your next knife purchase!

Jim builds a hell of a knife. It has easily become one of my top 3 favorite knives of all time. I love the fact that you can send in your knife to get it modified to your liking. And his Customer Service is so damn fantastic that other knife makers need to take note. 10 stars.

Honestly, the Transient is incredible. The action, build quality, and overall design make this one of my favorites. Additionally, Jim is a great dude. He’s quick to respond and actually cares about the knife enthusiast community. Will absolutely snag more of his work!

Gave 5 stars because that’s all there were available. Honestly, can’t say enough about these knives and Jim. I’ve bought two absolute bangers….so far. The quality of the knives goes without saying, they are exceptional and just a joy to carry. In my opinion, the real x-factor about HMC is Jim. On 2 of the drops that I participated in, my shitty debit card fraud protection kicked in (always does with online purchases) and denied the purchase. I had time to use a different card and still got the knives. On the third drop I missed the knife because of it and Jim emailed me within minutes apologizing and asked if there was anything he could do to help out. I was blown away to say the least. I have participated in many knife drops and never have I had that level of customer service. Unfortunately, I predict that because of his customer service and quality of knives combination, Jim will start machining these with Unobtanium in the near future.

Best of the best. Jim’s work is next to none in terms of quality, attention to detail, and fit/finish. Oh, and he also has the best customer service and support I’ve ever experienced. Literally can’t go wrong buying one of his knives. Keep up it up dude!!
